Hi! I’m Jennifer Armhold, a Hawaiʻi based artist, illustrator, and designer who welcomes a wide range of creative collaborations.

For over a decade, I worked in hospitality while building a self-taught creative practice in illustration, design, and product development. Whenever I encountered a knowledge gap or technical hurdle, I taught myself the skills needed to move forward. That curiosity and willingness to learn continue to shape everything I create today.

My background in visual arts allows me to create work that is beautiful and expressive, while my education in UX has taught me to think carefully about how things function, communicate, and connect with the people using them. To me, great design should look good and make sense.

Hospitality also deeply influences my creative approach. Anticipating needs, reading the room, and creating positive experiences are second nature for me, and those instincts continue to guide how I design products and collaborate with clients.

My illustration work is playful, colorful, and lighthearted, making it well suited for stationary, puzzles, publishing and other character-driven applications. I maintain a growing library of artwork available for licensing, with my portfolio available upon request.

I typically work on a contract basis. I’m a creative person with insatiable curiosity and I’ve learned that flexible practice allows me to do my best work.

Thank you for your interest in my story. I look forward to connecting with you.
